Subject: Who lives near a 765 Kv Transmission line

6 miles South of Alden, Minnesota
Good day all! I live in Southwestern Freeborn County in South Central Minnesota. Power On Midwest is proposing a 755 Kv transmission line in our County with one proposed route in my backyard and the other in the northern part of the County. My questions to those who live near one are: How close are you to one and what affect do you or your livestock have to it? Do you have any problems farming under/crossing them with GPS? I have more questions than that, but that gets the door open to conversation! This would be the largest line in Minnesota and Power On Midwest is very careful about how they answer questions. I went to an "Open house" information meeting about 2 months ago and got some answers, but not specific answers. They are having another open house/ information meeting next week, August 11th at the Golden Bubble 4pm-6pm and again August 12th at Wedgewood Cove Golf Club in Albert Lea 10am-12am. The purpose of this is to also try and get the word out so people know about it. Sorry about the long post!
