nc ks | For much of the western part I would say just more of the last 5 years except for maybe last year. For my area it isn't a real normal year at all as we had excessive moisture at one or two points and some didn't recover from that and then we got too dry on some of it a time or two and we have been awfully warm at night for the better dryland and irrigated to reach potential. So, just a bunch of nicks and cuts. I think NE KS may be looking at quite a crop, but that is pretty normal for them. Hopefully someone from western KS will chime in on what years in history this reminds them of. | |
