nc ks | western KS had a pretty good year last year in general, not so much this year. We are going to possibly have a little better year than last year, but we were some of the worst in KS last year. I think in actuality that KS acres will be up, but yield for the state will be much lower. So in summary, I don't think Kansas will be making up for anyone else. What the usda will say is another matter. I assume they will add KS acres and put the yield close to last year's which is inaccurate (or criminal actually). | |
