| yeah but i mean wouldn't the kernel weight correlate significantly with vegetative health though? Both disease and drought pretty easily show up from aerial views. I don't think you can get weigh wagon estimates from imagery but I would bet they are pretty damn good overall. And planting date is also known so you have some adjustments you can make based on historical data as well. My overall argument is I generally think the estimates are within reason. But i understand others may disagree. | |
