Less than a million a year. But she makes more from ads and endorsements than she does from playing. I don’t really think she’s going anywhere because the WNBA is what gets her the ads and endorsement money. If she was playing overseas she might make more from her playing but the big money is off court, which wouldn’t be there overseas. Top salaries include Aja Wilson, Boston, Kelsey Mitchell, and a few others. Boston supposedly has the biggest overall contract but Wilson gets the most per year with a shorter contract.
Clark is still on her rookie contract which goes thorough the 2027 season. After that, she’s gonna get paid BIG. If the Fever want to keep playing games on prime time national TV and selling out games everywhere they play they’re gonna have to pay her more, a lot more.
The value of the Fever franchise has increased $470 million since Clark’s arrival. $90 million to $560 million. That’s pretty good ROI on a player currently getting paid $500k.
