At what age, or stage in life would your kids take over the business or run along side. How do some of you see the taking over part, or will they never get any assets till you pass. Interested to hear your guys opinion.
on my side there’s no taking over, parents own it all, I get to run the complete business except machinery purchases is a “combined” decision. I’ll get the criticism from dad if something is wrong, but when all goes right it’s crickets, have my son at that age where he wants to help lots (10 years) but I don’t want him to work around my dad as he can’t help himself from criticizing everything he does wrong besides just letting him find out the hard way.
