Subject: Ideas please new cattle waterer

swMN
I'm going to put in a new automatic cattle waterer, been a stock tank there since time began, filled with the hydrant, tired of always having to fill it and remembering If I shut it off, i live a mile and half away, so the pad is level, the water supply is there I'm thinking of just cutting a hole in the concrete and dig down with a post hole auger and then a tunnel over to the water supply, the hydrant is a 10ft bury hydrant, I'd like to put in the tile/tubes. For ground source heat plus the electric heater, should I just dig one big hole or try to tunnel under the pad to the water line
