We are going on two years and over 700 loads on a GE ventless combination washer/dryer and my bride could not be more pleased. Ours has the same capacity as the front load washer we had before. It does take longer to wash and dry a load. But it adds no moisture to the house and no extra heat either. I was very skeptical when we were shopping but it has worked out well. It does require a more regimented maintenance routine and clothes don't come out as toasty dry as a conventional dryer but we (she) is very happy with it thus far. I can't speak to the longevity of the machine, but so far so good.
