Grass is always full of water, I don't think it will stick any worse, and usually a lot less than "dry" grass. I know the build up will be easier to rinse off than dry grass juice.
Biggest issue is it will take more power to mow the heavier grass, and if you have hills, you'll be more likely to slide or lose traction. Diseases in grass is the least of our worries.
I have a 3 point finish mower, I power wash it after each time I mow.
If the grass is dry, not as much grass sticks to the deck but it's harder to wash off.
If the grass is wet, more sticks under the deck but it's easier to wash clean.
It takes 3.5 hours to mow each time, I start when the grass is still a little damp, if it's too wet, it's harder to pick up the grass in the tire tracks. |
