Illinois | If we are doing business with the company(s) we are good with an early call/commitment. If a new seed company we want to see local data, so most times this will be half way through harvest they will stop back. If we pick a new seed company we require them to guarantee they can get us medium flats. We were burned in the past buying a box of seed we had a hell of time getting a good singulation/emergence. It was small seed, rounds & flats mixed that we didn't realize till it was delivered & was promised it would plant just fine. | |
