south central IL
I’ve seen it several times, the first time was about 5 years ago near Greenville Illinois. It can be devastating. It seems to be the worst in low lying fields in wet years. It’s spread several ways but from what I’ve read tillage equipment moving from field to field is the fastest way it moves. The treatment is pricey but if you have it it’s worth it. There will be a lot of beans treated in 2027.there’s a really good article on Purdue website.
