Subject: Glufosinate Label & Nozzles

Cen Ks
Recently reading thru the Glufosinate label(generic).
It has this comment: "Application of spray at a 45 degree angle forward will result in better spray coverage".
How advantageous is having nozzles angled forward? Some applicators in our areas will run 15+mph. At that speed what happens to spray pattern?
Back in the day when all we had was flat fan tips, some recommended rear facing angle. If I recall right, the idea was the spray pattern would remain intact at higher boom speeds.
Tell me what I need to know about forward angled spray tips.
