| I had one stop by every winter and I would chat with him awhile but I told him I was happy with what I had. He still would stop every winter a couple times, kinda took too much time even though I wasn’t really busy.
I have a little growly jack russell that barks a lot but doesn’t bite…..unless you reach down to pet him. I always warn people not to touch him and he will be ok. I told this guy the same thing but I turned my back and of course he reached down to pet him. Got bit on his finger, barely broke skin, didn’t even bleed. Kept on talking for awhile and thought nothing of it until after he left he called and asked me if the dog had his rabies shot. Well, no he didn’t. The guy must have called his aunt, she was a nurse and she worried the hell out of him so he went to the hospital to get checked out. This was basically a scratch on his finger. Well……I guess the hospital is required to notify law enforcement about any dog bite soooo here comes a deputy at 10:30pm and says he has to accompany me and my dog to the local pound and he has to be quarantined for 10 days. 10 days later I’m out a couple hundred bucks ( yes, the rabies shot was given, I know I should have done that anyway) but I’m telling you I was pretty livid.
Needless to say…..the guy has never bugged me again. Lol, I guess that’s one way to get rid of another salesman. I don’t recommend it though. | |
