I appreciate the input from everyone. I have talked to someone I know who has a bunch of rentals that has offered to help me screen potential tenents. I have also found a local property management service a few miles away that I am going to call, if they would manage everything for 10% that would be tempting.
My wife and I decided to move forward with the purchase, if it becomes too much we have options to split off the main house on 5 acres or sell the whole thing.
Good deal...family ground is hard to come by!!! If it gets real bad, I bet someone will take it off your hands if it comes down to that...maybe that's the wrong way to look at it, but that's what I said about the last 85 my Brother and I got the chance to swing on!
