I was totally unaware of the condenser type dryers. Is that a European thing? I haven't ever seen one here but that doesn't necessarily mean anything. Only kind I ever knew existed were vented till we bought this all in one.

Seems your link had his own biases, which is normal. Anyone who knows anything about anything is biased and believes his way is correct and others way less so. The trick is to try and control ones own biases in order to keep learning. Some can, others not so much.
