The assumption is that older means incompetent? It's my experience that tells me the opposite can be true.
It's also my experience that tells me what you don't use you lose. Life is made to be lived and for those of us lucky enough to be able to do things I think we should. When you stop taking care of yourself and delegate your life to others you're already part way on the other side of the grass.
