Everyone I know of here in Ohio has direct cut it. Old Gleaner conventional (smaller ones ran clover screens in chaffer/sieve), 88 series iH rotors (auger and draper head), and 9600 Deere (30’ auger head). It’s not a fast moving job, but the 30’ heads help get something done verses the slow speed and small head of the old Gleaners.
