My grandfather and father both had AAA. Grandpa had his surgery done at Barnes hospital in st. Louis. He was there for 7 weeks. Dad's was done at mayo and he was in hospital for 6 weeks. Recovery is not fun from this surgery. I get checked every 2 years.
