The trap crop is a good plan.I know the best trap crop for flea beetles is Bok Choi,you can just treat that plant and all flea beetles =dead.The striped cuke beetle does go fast to certain squash,be sure the seed is not treated on the trap crop .Have you treated for slugs?If you use a neonic(imdicloroprid)you will have more and more slugs each year.Kills the slug predators.Use a good slug bait like Deadline Bullets.Forget the one called Slugo.It is poor.keep up the good work.
