West Central MN | Torque converter not locking up on the 2017? Does it have a silent stored P0741 diagnostic trouble code?
Drive the 2017 at 55 mph on a flat road and lightly tap the brake pedal with left foot while keeping right foot steady on the throttle. In normal operation, this signals the computer to unlock the torque converter, causing the RPMs to jump up. If tapping the brakes does not change engine RPM, the converter wasn't locked to begin with. | |
