If you're asking me, I'd say go for it. Wouldn't leave it out a 2nd nite, but one nite when it started out basically too hot to go in the fridge, I'd not hesitate. But if you're asking my d-i-l, she of the phobic issues on expiration dates etc, she'd pitch it. 



Wife is like your d-i-l , I just tell her if you are going to throw out good food,do it when I am not around...Best before dates waste a lot of food...Now my Mother born in 1929 was the extreme opposite,never tossed anything out that she could eat or feed somebody...maybe that is were I got my immune system
