My dad's aneurysm was somewhere near the base of his brain. Doc said, "He never knew what hit him." Happened one Sunday morning about 7:00 am. He never regained consciousness. Was declared brain dead later that day at the Tupelo hospital. Drew his last breath around 2:00 am Monday morning. That was his second one. The first one had a similar effect as a stroke. Messed up his right side but through hard work and therapy he did regain most of his right side functions. He was 73 when the first one hit and 78 when the last one hit.
