Minnesota | Aortic aneurysm is not something that you should ignore....consider yourself lucky that it was discovered (and not ruptured during your crash)!
An aneurysm can rupture -- which is an immediate life threatening condition. The aorta is a big artery and you could be dead before you realize what happened.
Aneurysms can also disrupt the blood flow and cause clots to form inside the aneurysm. The clots block blood flow or they can move down the vessel and block the blood flow downstream. Depending on where the clot can end up...this can be life-threatening, too.
There are certainly risk factor like high BP, smoking, etc for an aneurysm....but, can happen even with out the risk factors. You're not going to heal it with lifestyle modifications, diet, exercise, or any supplements. Get to the cardiologist and get it fixed before you have a bigger problem. It's not an emergency until it is an emergency. | |
