| yes when I was in school we were told you would never make money without college. Instead of teaching kids finance they taught us how to get a loan for college. Basically said when you graduate you’ll make the big bucks automatic and pay it off no problem.
News flash, all the sudden everyone had a diploma and employers had endless choices and realized they didn’t know anything anyway! Everyone acted like it wasn’t optional so enrollment surged and the price of it skyrocketed. Now there scrambling to get the kids trade certificates since all that skipped a generation.
I could go on, but here locally you can make more money after a 2 week CDL course than 4 years of college and 10 years job experience. | |
