| 1954 was when the 45 was introduced. My great grandpa and his brother bought a 55 the year before, and my great great uncle thought it was too big for what they needed. I suppose if they waited a year they wouldve got a 45 instead, but my great grandpa threatened to sell the minneapolis moline pull type they had and start threshing again because he was not gonna go through another harvest struggling with the MM | |
