Fattires,those should kill with ease.Even carbaryl will knock them in 5 minutes.If you are just using it as a deco why not a neoicitinoid ? just give it some in the water.If you really wanted to kill all insects and you were 100% not going to consume it Temik would kill them all.,just in the soil,never eat it,,EVER.You should buy some Orchard Vole bait.This around the yard edges.No mice.
They do kill easily but I think I have struggled with coverage between a rapidly growing plant and excessive rainfall I had a little more feeding than I want. It seems like they can transmit bacterial wilt and yellow vine disease quickly. Currently using imidicloprid, bifenthren and assail. Maybe I'll look into the temik next year as these will never be eaten.
I'm also going to try using blue Hubbard squash as a trap crop for the cucumber beetles next year. I'm going to put them in pots around the patch and treat them very heavily with insecticide. |
