Subject: Ventless dryers

Pittsburg, Kansas

We passed down our relatively new washer dryer combo to a grandson moving into our old farm house. So Carolynn was in the market for a new set. We ended up getting a GE all in one where you put the clothes in dirty and they come out clean and dry. The thing has no outside vent!. I didn't even realize it till the installers delivered it.

I thought, how is this going to work. Seemed like a flaky idea to me. But we had it and there it was.

Wife loves it. No transferring clothes from washer to dryer. Seems to work.

I'm thinking this has to use more electric or something. My flawed logic as usual.

Then I ran across this video. Hmmmm. Maybe not as bad as I imagined. Heat pump technology. I never even thought of it till this video mentioned it, the combo unit only plugs in to a 110 outlet. The two twenty outlet for our old dryer is no longer used!

So far so good. Now if it will only last.
