Ahhhh, but to an eternal being the blink of an eye could be hundreds of millions of years in our time frame of understanding. When you speak to a two year old, you have to talk in language and meaning that is comprehensible to them at their stage of understanding and development, or it is of no use talking to them at all. Things were revealed to the extent of their capability of understanding in their time of physical being. Hopefully as time marches on we understand more than what people did a few thousand years ago.
