sw Nebraska | BLS in corn was first found in my county in SW Nebraska in 2014 and confirmed in 2016 and is still prevalent. Effect on yield is still not well defined. We have had some irrigated fields that will turn a white shirt red walking through scouting that still yielded pretty well. Some varieties are better but not a really bulletproof resistance that I have seen but I think it is persistent in the soil. My comments are anecdotal but UNL extension researcher Dr Tamora Jackson Ziems is probably the leading authority on it.
