Subject: RE: Car loans

coast of Maine
The problem shows when Billy buys a pickup, slightly used, blows tranny at 2nd year.Needs 12,000 to fix, cant get it,trucks worth near worthless and he still owes 25 grand.Know several in same situation.
My plan for many years is zero car payments.Buy them when its right, run em til they rot away.Last I bought way out west(where the girls have hair on their chests)and it is 10 years old and zero salt exposure. It will give me 10 years, cost per mile will be cheeeeeap. Then it gets handed down to the farm crews.Short blocks are 5 grand, tranny rebuilds are 5 grand, never be under water.I just saw a used Raptor sell for 159,000$,,now talk about a moronic use of funds,,,I know,, better than hookers and blow.
