Does your traveling gun have its own booster pump on it?

You may need to get heavier aluminum pipe made to handle higher pressures with ring-lock couplers if your distance and pressures get too big.

As to going under the road, my county requires a deeply placed pipe with risers on each side in your fields, unless you are making the pipe underground to a location farther away. The pipe under the road will be required to have a sleeve around it in case the water pipe fails, so that the water diverts to either side of the road rather than up through the road itself.

Yes, some folks are lucky and are able to put irrigation pipe through an existing road culvert, but not where I live.

My underground PVC pipes get heated with a propane torch and then an aluminum or steel pipe and coupler is forced in and clamped too.
