How is that relevant to spraying just because? It’s like anything else. Generic glyphosate and dicamba is cheap, make an extra pass to be sure you have no weeds. Why? If there’s a reason then sure, do it. If not then why do it? Of course a salesman is the guy saying “well don’t ‘quit’ on the crop early”. Just buy something from me!
Just seems a bit irresponsible. Put on an extra 50 pounds of N just in case, the crop might use it.
Can’t wait for government controls on more of these things because of this mindset. Right or wrong, we should try to be above reproach in our use of all of this stuff. Someone licensed as a crop advisor should understand that.
That’s why I continually recommend finding independent CCA’s to work with.
