North Mississippi Delta / Alabama Gulf Coast | My drive way goes through a neighbor field (legal easement). In 2012 when he got in a $$ bind, I offered to buy if he ever wants to sell. He won’t sell even though he cant afford the taxes. Makes enough renting it to keep it, barely.
If some one buys it at a stupid price, they will get the opportunity to buy a lot more at even a more stupid price! Much better land, house, barns, well, etc!
