If you’re buying land on variable interest notes then I’m sorry but you can get what you deserve if interest takes off. The 80s happened. Most people learned from that. If you’re still on variable after having chances to refinance at 3-4% in 2021 I don’t feel bad. Heck I purchased a farm in January that only cost 5.2%. You can insure revenue up to 85%, then buy extra county level coverage to 95%. Know the numbers, figure out what you can spend and imo do it. We’re in the farming business. Every type of farming requires land, can’t plant crops in air, can’t raise livestock in air, can’t park equipment in the road. | |
