Holly Hill, SC | A few year back I was busy finishing harvesting corn and then realized I was very behind on spraying my soybeans for worms/stinkbugs. Tropical storm/hurricane was coming in. Sprayed all I could from 7 am till noon. Light rain started at 8am and I had to stop at noon because ground was getting slick and muddy. Over the next few days ended up with 6 inches of rain. Two weeks later got back in the field. You could tell to the row everywhere that I had sprayed. Insecticide did a perfect job. Used a Bifenthrin and some sort of systemic insecticide. Just my experience, not recommended to spray in the rain but was very surprised in the favorable results. | |
