Liberty, MO | Probably around 1950 I was maybe 8 years old i drove an H Farmall for a neighbor who had shocked his Timothy if I remembered correctly and I didn’t get to drive to the thrashing machine though. A first and only time I ever saw that way of thrashing. I don’t remember the power source for the thrashing machine either, but I thought it was very unusual as all the rest of the neighbors had pull type combines. These folks weren’t Amish either, just folks that didn’t go modern as quick as the rest of the neighbors.
