western NY | Really need more information, but assuming it's good cropland, it's not a 10 million dollar piece and you're not at the end of your career:
[1] Pay whatever the owner will accept.
[2] Get a deal made NOW. Before the sun sets, at least get a handshake.
[3] Figure out a way to generate the dollars to pay for it if you don't have the business income already. I'm not talking about way to borrow for it, that's a given. I'm talking about changing, expanding or diversifying your business so you can PAY for it in a few years time. | |
