A year and a half ago I was drinking 5 to 7 cups of coffee a day, plus a few Dr Peppers. My cardiologist told me to lay off the caffeine since my pulse was elevated into the 90's. I drink a cup or 2 a day and my pulse has dropped 10 to 20 bpm.
