SW Iowa | First thing, the display you have pictured is not a 4640, it is a G5 universal.
Since you are running a 4600 and G5 together, you have a total of four COM ports. You have COM1 and 2 on the 4600 server and COM1 and 2 on the G5. The serial input on the 4600 server under the console is not tied to the corner post connection for a universal display. You either need to split your NMEA circuits and feed both the server and the universal display, or run all precision ag functions on the G5, or swap out the G5 for a gen4 extended monitor and greatly simplify this problem.
My advice is to get everything working how you like on the 4600, then add the extended monitor for better visibility. | |
