Hastings, Florida | Glad you posted this. Right now my wife is visiting the local rescues, looking for a small older dog to replace 2 we recently said good-by to. One, SASHA, was an old small dog my wife saved from being put to sleep many years ago. She had a great personality. We knew her end was near, she was old, and vet said time to give last shot. We were all set to do it next day, really feeling down, so went to town to eat. Came home, she walked up to my wife who picked her up, and died as my wife held her. She waited on my wife to come home and told her thank you, then passed away. So, I have been thinking of names for new dog, but always felt the name should be earned, fit the nature of the dog. Other names we have used were Buggs, BISCUIT, GO-GO, Day-Oh-Gee ( d-o-g ) , ELSIE.
