I get the EV pull for urban folks or short trips where you charge at home every night. I just don't see the benefits for longer distances where you have to charge on the go 

The local gas station here ripped up a bunch of turf and concrete to install maybe 5 charging stations around 2020. 

6 years later they are all laying on pallets and concrete poured back into regular parking spots
