Subject: RE: Ev's in the USA

Agent Orange: Friendly fire that keeps on burning.

I asked my grandson which pickup he would buy today.
6.2 GM gasser with a 10-speed? Nah! I want to see what one of those is worth in 10 years.
How about a 3.0 GM diesel with a 10-speed? what could go wrong? Iffy transmission and an even iffier engine with a wet belt oil pump.
My money would be on a good EV today, lasting longer and having better resale.
Today's batteries are lasting much longer than what was projected 5 years ago. And then, factor in; no transmission, no engine issues or maintenance. This isn't 10 years ago and the ICE vehicles of today are all having major problems with their drive-trains while the EVs continue to get better.
