jimjr - 8/1/2026 06:16 I've only seen pictures of a 1482, the reason he uses this is the straw comes out nicer, he use to pull it with a 856 but with the past weeks temps and humidity he opted for A/C and everybody around here has gone to rotor combines.


14 and 1682 were very popular pull types here and probably sold as many if not more than the older 914 conventionals. Like JD and Massey back when the big pull type combines were so popular in the 80s/90s. My neighbour harvested a field of durum wheat for me back in 89 with his. It was a thin crop and he could really move along with it.
