I sure can't compete with what Paulson asked for, lol, but what would be the best potential legume to add with possibly c. rye that would usually be drilled after SB harvest in early October with the target of producing some N for the next crop of corn that would be planted the last 10 days of April if conditions allowed in W. Central Illinois?
Guess a second ? might be if trying to scavenge any left over N with a cc is a more practical/consistent approach than trying to produce N for a farmer targeting a fairly early planting date for corn?
In both cases, the plan would be to plant corn green. | |
