I am having memory loss, or at least I think i do. I will go to look something up and forget what I was looking up. I have always had trouble with names. I take 25 MG of trazadone, 10 MG of ambien, and 2 melatonin. I absolutely hate taking them and if I don't I will go to bed and I lay there and lay there. It's been as bad as after 1 am going to sleep. I try to cut back but I still got to get up at 5 am go to work and so i just get anxious about falling to sleep, which then makes it worse. Any one else have this problem?

My dad does. Trazadone 50mg, Mirtazapine 15mg, Lunesta 2mg, Melatonin 5mg (over 3mg can work against you). The lack of sleep and added stress pretty much accelerated his retirement a decade ago. I remember being in highschool and he got on Ambien when it came out...there were some wild night time surprises with that one. So hes been on everything under the sun for 20+ years. Nothing really works he says.

Well a couple months ago he went through some other medical stuff that i helped him with and couldnt take those for a stretch. Actually slept a little better while on a steroid which shouldnt happen. When he came off it he decided to hold off on the sleep meds and try a CBD/THC gummy. He was very reluctant and even kind of ashamed acting with it, but hes been swearing by it. Only about an 1/8th of a gummy and hes out fairly quickly. He does say hell sometimes still wake up in the middle of the night and not go back to sleep, but were working on an idea to stagger or layer that as short term sleep starter with something to kick in later to last longer. I can ask him tomorrow if you want more info as its been a few weeks since we discussed it.
