I can almost taste that tomato 
The biggest one I have yet is half that size and of course still green. Going to have to eat store bought for a few more days.

I did water part of my garden in early July as we were dry but got 24.5mm on 21st and was thinking about watering again until the 20mm we got this evening.

I planted some early potatoes and most of them have died back already so they are dug and many already eaten.
Might have eaten more but still working on finishing up my sweet potatoes from last year.

My small pea patch is done. Did not produce very well this year probably because I let them get too dry and all the 30+C days we had but I enjoyed them for as long as they lasted and the small surplus waited in the fridge for me to clean them up.

I also have been able to stay ahead of weeds with the hoe until this last few days there are many little ones coming after our rain 10 days ago. Will have to get tiller going again when it dries up.

Think I will try some small red beets in the next day or two when I have finished with more yellow beans.
Going to put some of them in freezer as they are yielding well right now, more than I can keep ahead of eating.

No saskatoon berries here but I bought enough strawberries for my daughter to make me a couple pies. They were good.
