I have a 2025 Ram 3500 single wheel with a diesel.  Perfect combination for me.  I can still fit in a drivethru, parking garages, and be incognito hauling things from out of state.  Plenty of power and "git er done" while nice enough to take the wife out in.

Diesel just works when you want power.
