Barry County, MI
Husker because we are organic I like my red clover tall . for various reasons .we seed into wheat or what ever spring crop about 1st of May so we don't have to cut into it to harvest mostly cereals 3rd week July , but after harvest we bush hog stubble an what ever else is there . and bush hog again before fall . so I like a lot of mass on the ground in the winter, so we plow 1s may and have a pretty good mass of clover on top of a layer maybe one half to three quarters thick to plow down our fertilizer I call it but we do add chickens pellets or turkey litter or sometimes both , so basically we get it out of sight , would probably be a mess if we no tiled I m sure archie
