the keynote speaker (Dr. Lisa Kissing-Kucek) for our field day next Friday (8/7) is slated to talk about cover crop genetics and management with an emphasis on maximizing the value of legumes CCs.
Lisa is a cover crop breeder so genetic improvement is a top priority but we all know that MANAGEMENT & environmental conditions strongly impact how genetics are expressed.
It would be great to have you come ask Lisa Qs during the field day BUT many of you are located FAR from W. IL or have other obligations next Friday... so let me know what you would like to ask a cover crop breeder and I will share your Qs/comments with Lisa.
