Northeastern Pa. | Finally got an inch of rain over a 3-day period. Our corn was earing out before we got the rain and was really hurting on the gravel. I hope it's not too late. We can see the farm across the river that we rent from a rock ledge overlooking it. Wow the bear are making their crop circles already! I've never seen them start so early. Also have a wild steer from a neighboring farm run around in the corn. Add the deer, bear and steer together and maybe we won't need to get the combine out. | |
